Second – if you make fruit smoothies then you may fall into the trap of thinking that they’ll have too much sugar. And too much sugar means your body will release too much insuline in the blood (wich will make you become fatter – as insuline is the #1 fat gaining hormone). But this not entirely correct…


And that’s because smoothies are NOT juices. When you “blend” fruits to make a smoothie, the fruits keep the fiber, and the fiber slows the assimilation process of fructose. This will prevent your body from releasing too much insulin and this will save you from storing extra fat.


Third – like always, quantity matters. It’s difficult to eat 5 apples a day, but to include 5 apples into a smoothie and drink it in 30 seconds is much easier So don’t be tricked by quantity.
